I don't think I have ever seen a sealed new Waterworld before.

I would be interested in buying the Music Machine instructions from whomever wins the auction. You could contact me prior to bidding also if that would help influence how much you bid.

That is the nicest auction that someone has put together on ebay all at once in quite awhile. Should be interesting to see what the music machine goes for with instrucitons. BTW are you getting out of collecting?

So what will get more, the Music Machine w/ manual or the new / sealed Waterworld?

Waterworld is the more popular title, but Music Machine has that magic R10 and the manual seals the deal.

I'm guessing Music Machine.

Followed by Waterworld with Rescue Terra close behind.

I need some cash to buy a gift to my wife, it's the reason why I didn't use my ebay account but the account of my best friend ;)

The last loose Music Machine I saw sell on Ebay was sold recently by jenny070_0 (same person who had the Vulture Attack I wanted) and it went really cheap...like $150.00 or something. I know I saw one offered here on AtariAge with the instructions and a weird looking version of the record for $250.00 a few months back, I think Orrimarko bought it and has since sold it to someone? I made an offer for the instructions but the seller did not want to split it up, I don't blame him there worth more together if you ask me. As for Waterworld it will be interesting to see what that goes for, sometimes sealed games get some crazy prices but sometimes they don't. I would guess Rescue Terra will pull more than Music Machine for sure. You hardly ever see that game boxed and people pay a lot for it.

I dunno. A stash of these were found. Its a rare title but just like Berenstein bears I see it boxed more often than not. The ones I saw usually top out new at $300. I've seen Music Machines loose sell for $300. I'd vote Music Machine will beat Terra I.

This is almost like a horse race. It's Music Machine leading by a nose followed by rescue terra close behind with Waterworld a couple of lengths back.

Would you like those 3 in a box, a straight or both?

True but that was over 7 years ago. And the stash was only about 100 instead of several hundred each by Motorodeo and Ikari Warriors.

I would also place a bid myself if anyone is interested in buying just the cart. Just PM me with how much you would like to pay for the cart and we can take it from there. We could even contact the seller and pay extra shipping to split it up to our seperate adresses so we both get our items sooner. Just an idea, I really want those instructions but I don't really want to get another Music Machine I'll have to sell.

100 known NOS new in box Rescue Terra verses how many known Music Machine instructions?

True, but the Music Machine is still not complete and in box, which would scare away some "box" only bidders. Also the fact that no one here at Atariage seemed to jump at the $250 price tag for the Music Machine with instructions is another factor. One last factor that you may forget. As a game Music Machine sucks outright. As a game Rescue Terra is actually pretty good. I also consider Music Machine to be the third most common rarity 10 game, right behind 1. Motorodeo and 2. Obelix.

I'd pay $250 for this set in heartbeat. Those instructions look great. A complete music machine with a box that looks as good as the rest this seller has would break the 1000 barrier and keep on going.

This is a very nice set of games. I WONDER how much they will be going for at the end. :)

I think part of the "Rarity 10" status for Music Machine is the box. Last I heard there is only three of them owned by collectors, that sounds like a ten to me. I do agree though that a loose one isn't to terribly hard to find, they seem to be availible more often then the other 10's. Music Machine was one of the first rare games I owned. Damn I want those instructions, might just have to break down and bid on it.

Dang that was extremly fun to watch :) :D  :D

Here are the stats

Music Machine $338.89

Spy Hunter $204.00

Tapper $ 89.71

Up N' Down $212.50

Rescue Terra I $404.99

Waterworld $511.51

It should be noted that shipping was $15 to the U.S. so you can add $15 to all of those. Looks like Atarimania will be able to buy his wife a pretty cool gift :D  :D
