jpfalcon2003 #1 Posted September 1, 2006 Since being an Atariage member I've accumulated alot of nice things. I had a 7800 growing up that I had gotten for XMAS of 1988, with the games that were being released at that time. Never did I know that the boxes and instructions were important to keep. I had threw all my manuals and boxes away for those games. After being a AA member i learned how important that was. I decided to make my 7800 collection complete with all the games complete with manual and box, and so I sold or traded my loose copies. Boy that was an expensive task. I finally done it by doing a little at a time. Rampage was really hard to find complete, but I acquired it a couple weeks ago off of ebay. My 7800 collection is complete with the exception of Titlematch Pro Wrestling that I have loose with a PAL box. There is one currently on ebay, but that guy is asking way too much for it. He did have it for $499.00 previously, now he relisted it and has it for $380.00 with $16.00 shipping.lol He'll have to go down more than that for me. I just wanted to share my collection that I acquired with everyone and say how proud I am to be an AA member. This site and the people on here have taught me so much. Especially Shawn Sr, Pac-Man Plus, and CPUWIZ. 7800 collection complete except for Titlematch Pro Wrestling. I also have Combat 1990, Save Mary, Shooting Arcade (completed version), Klax, Sentinel, Pac-Man, Ultra Pac-Man, Pac-Man Plus, Ms. Pac Attack, Fast Ms. Pac-Man, Robot Finds Kitten, Beef Drop, Tubes, and Qbert Demo version. 2600 Collection: Alot of my 2600 games are complete as well with box and instructions except the ones listed as not. Phoenix, Smurf's rescue, Coconuts, Realsports tennis, Battlezone, Midnight Magic(cart only), Robot Tank(cart only), Slot Machine(cart only), Congo Bongo, Spy Hunter(cart only), Crystal Castles, Millipede, Stargate, Jr. Pac-man, Front Line(by Coleco), Kung-Fu Master, Skate Boardin'(cart only), Super Football, Commando, Pete Rose Baseball, Mangia'(repro), Pengo(cart only), Bugs Bunny(complete and autographed), Garfield(repro), Gremlins(cart only), Frogger II(cart only), Qbert's Qubes(cart only), Crazy Climber(cart and manual only), Up n' down(cart only), 256 in one multicart, River Raid II, Road Runner, Double Dragon, Rampage, BMX Airmaster(Wht/ TNT version), Double Dunk, Off the Wall, Secret Quest, Motorodeo, Xenophobe, Ikari Warriors, Radar Lock, Sentinel, Bezerk Voice Enhanced(repro), and Rubics Cube 3-D(repro). I'll probably get more Hombrews to come also when they are available. 5200 collection: 128 in one multicart with all the games including Prototypes, Bezerk(complete), Kangaroo, Pengo, Jungle Hunt, Moon Patrol, Vangard, Pitfall II, and Pac-Man 7800 modded AV system with 2 7800 contollers, 1 joypad, 2 lightguns, and 4 original 2600 joysticks. Lord Thag #2 Posted September 1, 2006 Yeah, I hear ya. I've gotten quite a lot of good carts off this marketplace here. In particular, a lot of activision I didn't have. Great place to trade, and a hell of a lot cheaper than ebay.
Lemmi #3 Posted September 2, 2006 a few days ago i found a list of carts/cd games i had before i joined here and ebay from 1980 to 2001 - 604 cart/cd games total 2001 to now -- 1331 cart/cd games total i doubled my collection in just 5 years here is a small example ---------- before -- after 7800 ------ 38 ----- 58 (mostly ebay but many AA members helped me finish the US collection) 2600 ------ 158 ---- 253 -- (mostly fleamarkets, but all of my boxed ones came from here in some form or another) jaguar ------ 6 ------ 42 (with CD games, 24 games i got from an AA member) 800xl ------- 7 ------ 12 ( 5 multicarts i bought just before selling all my 5200 stuff, from a AA guy) the biggest jumps were the 3do from 56 to 180 (ebay and other collectors on ebay helped me finish that collection) NES - 63 to 253 (mostly funcoland/gamestop)
Vic George 2K3 #4 Posted September 2, 2006 I want to start building up games from the AA store's selection of homebrews. Too bad most of the hacks disappeared.
