Ditto. Other addictive games:

  • Enduro
  • Astroblast
  • Stellar Track

Don't ask me about the Intellivision, though. You might get a list FAR longer than you wanted. ;)

Additions (Updated as I think of them!):

  • Centipede
  • Outlaw
  • Combat (bi-planes)
  • Shuttle Orbiter
  • Bump and Jump

I still cannot believe how fun Bowling is today. Whenever I hook the ol 7800, I always give that one a whirl.

I have to say I'm also addicted to Buck Rogers.

For me it's Dragonfire. I always think if I try one more time I'll get to that next dragon. It's always been one of my favorites. I also find basically any of the tennis games addicting as well.

Right now "Wolfenstein VCS".

:D :D :D

Yes, it would be stupid of me not to mention Hunchy and A-VCS-TEC Challenge as current addictions, and trying to find the secret level in Wolfenstein.

LOTS of games, too many to list. One of the reasons I collect the 2600 is for the large number of games I really like on the system. I seldom have a set of games that stay the same, rather, I tend to focus on a group of games for six months or so and move on. Currently, it's Raiders (heh), Stellar Track and Xenophobe. Six months or so ago, it was Lazer Gates, Subterannea, Phoenix and Star Fire.

One of the great things about collecting is the sheer variety of great games you get to play.

Amen to that BROTHER!!!

More and more addictive games keep coming to my mind to add to the list. The sheer quantity of good games on the 2600 truly does outweigh the bad and that is something a lot of systems can't boast even today.

Whenever I play the 2600, I must play an Activision game. My favorites right now are Grand Prix & Freeway. I like most Activision games. Apart from Activision, it'd be Frogger and Asteroids.

It really depends on my mood. H.E.R.O. and either Pitfall! for Activision games.

Maze Craze for ATARI :D

Of those I currently own, these come out most often and get played the longest:

Circus Atari

Gravitar

Kaboom!

Megamania

River Raid

Space Invaders

Stargate

From what I had as a kid (but have not yet picked up a replacement copy), I would add Fishing Derby
