glitch
I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to order older/obsolete IC chips from. Specifically I'm looking for a few INS8154n ICs from National Semiconductiors. It's a N-Channel 128x8 bit RAM Input/Output controller. They were used in Acorn 1 computers in the UK and a few other devices in the states. It looks like production may have halted in the early 80s. bjk7382
You might want to try Here They show 2 in stock, but they have a quote for price, so who knows.
glitch
Thanks. Have you ordered from them before? I don't see any mention of a minimum order and the I find the fact that their minimum shipping & handling is less than $15.00 encouraging. I'm going to submit a request for a quote for those and a few other parts I need and see if they're willing to work w/ me. Most of the surplus sites I've contacted won't work w/ hobbyists and require a minmum orders that start at hundreds of pieces or $300.00 or more.
