ATARIPITBULL #1 Posted September 12, 2006 I just picked up this new Atari 2600 controller that looks just like a regular 2600 joystick, but the handle is thicker and it comes with an extra fire button, plus in the box, it comes with this wire adapter for use with computers. This controller does not say who made it or from what country it is made in.

Video #4 Posted September 12, 2006 It's beutiful. I'd make an adaptor so the thing would use the second fire button on the very few games for 2600 that used them. Or does it already? I doubt anyone would have made it just happen to work that way though. Cool joystick though.

ComputerCollector #7 Posted September 13, 2006 This looks to me like a certain company went and bought a bunch of Atari Joysticks some how, (perhaps at bulk rate) and went and modified them a little for resale. (but thats all speculation and guessing)

One thing I notice though is that the joystick is kind of tight and hard to move, I don't know if its because it has a fire button on the stick or that the handle is thicker than normal? Ze_ro #9 Posted September 13, 2006 I'm curious about the adaptor there... how are you supposed to use that? One end looks like it'll fit the end of the joystick's cable, but what's on the other end of it? What kind of computer is that supposed to be for? --Zero
