NES Game Genie question.

Today I hit a pawn shop and found 2 game genies for 4 bucks a pop. I have a question, though. I didn't buy them, because on the bottom it looked like the pins had green on them or something. I was wondering if this was normal or not.

 

I did get a boy and his blob for like $4.00, though. Don't know if its rare or not.

It's just corrosion on the copper contacts.

Some very fine grit sandpaper and electrical contact

cleaner will make them work like new.

Hmm, I'll have to see... Don't know.

It may be corrosion from the old NES that it was in then. Either way, it should be easily cleaned.

 

If your going to use it in the toaster, make sure the one you get has the handle intact, as it's difficult to use wituout it.
