Goochman #1 Posted September 23, 2006 Not sure where to put this but I found it interesting. Stephen Ross who was the chairman of Warner was an avid soccer fan. There was a report on the rise and fall of the Cosmos in the NASL back in th e70's/early 80's. It was amazing how much time/effort/money he put into the team. From drafting top players around the world to marketing the team to sellout crowds at the Meadowlands (76,000+ people). Money was no object to make them the best.
