Aliens: Extermination

There is a new Aliens game out in arcades, looks nice from the cabinet. I probably won't have a chance to play it for a while though but at least there are several arcades in my vicinity so hopefully one of them will get this soon.

 

The story takes place after Aliens. Apparently they send some marines back to the same planet to take care of the rest of the Aliens there.

Looks purely amazing. I am a huge Aliens and Predator fan. Too bad I don't have a local arcade. I love how they almost put a full Pulse Rifle for the gun. It would be nice if they ported this over to next-gen consoles or something.

That looks awesome. And actual [modified] M41A pulse rifles too!

 

Except for the guns, this reminds me of Alien 3: The Gun, or whatever it was called.

 

But, what colony is there to go back to? Hadley's Hope, along with the Derelict, were vaporised in a cloud the size of Nebraska There aren't any aliens left to kill in what must now be a miles-long radioactive crater!

I played this on Saturday - if any of you can find this, it's well worth trying out. Disregarding the story, it's a lot of fun, frantic action. The guns are some of the best light guns I have ever used and there is a lot of firepower you get in this game. Highly recomnended!
