Nintendo Catalogues

I see them from time to time in gaming stores or Wal-Mart or whatever. It looks like they come out every season? I haven't actively been seeking them out, but now that I have a few, it's turning into an interesting spin-off collection.

They're printed on heavy-ish stock and and have about 50 pages of screens pics and descriptions for new games and artsy product shots.

 

I have two older issues from Japan that my friend sent me and I think the DS Lite cover is the newest one.

I love vintage game catalogs. I had no idea anybody was doing these anymore. I'd LOVE to see some of these but... well, I guess if it means going into Wal-Mart...

These remind me a lot of the old Atari catalogues actually. Different in style, better quality, but essentially the same thing.

The newest one I have I got at Best Buy in fact, so you should be able to avoid Wal Mart if you really wanted to go questing for these

I don't have any of the store promo catalogues, but I have a bunch of Nintendo catalogues from the E3 when the cube debuted. They look *very* similar to what you've got. I also have a ton of coin-op game flyers from various AMOA/IAPPA/etc trade shows (my favorite is an autographed Elvira Pinball promo sheet - I wish I actually had the pin to match!). When I lived in Chicago a certain Borders store had a advertising-postcard display in the lobby with free postcards, and they had tons of Nintendo and Sega postcards, so I always grabbed a couple.

Yeh I collected these for a while, mainly when the DS was new and I was all excited abotu upcoming games.
