blastermaster #1 Posted October 2, 2006 i was looking for new stuff to buy for my new ds, and i found a something called a movie player. I found 2, one that uses SD cards and one that uses flash cards...they say that it can play movies and music and ebooks. sounds to good to be true, or too good to be able to work very easy...anyway anyone own one of these? is it worth it? thanks! ~jon
warmachine #2 Posted October 2, 2006 http://image.lik-sang.com/images//170/gba-...ieplayer-sd.jpg If this is the one you are thinking of, then it's not worth it. I own both the sd and compact flash version and they pretty much suck for watching movies and listening to music, but the e-reader works pretty well though. If you wanted to use it in a ds, then you would also have to get a passme since it will only work in the gba slot. You would be much better off with a real flashcart, such as the supercard. You shouldn't need a passme to use it in a ds. You are just watching a movie on one screen. You only need a passme if you want to make use of both screens like DS homebrews. I use my flashcart in my ds all the time with no passme. -Tim
