Gamecube help!

Okay, for some reason my Gamecube isn't working like my N64. I'm beginning to suspect it's the in/out connection I bought for it. It's a universal connector (I lost my old one in Katrina).

 

I'm wondering if I might have to change the channel to 4 or something. The thing works for my SNES, but not for my GC or N64.

im no master at this but i think that it isnt a universal or you need to get your GC and N64 checked

I'm assuming it a cable like this one . In that case switching to another channel won't do any good. Have you tried cycling through your various input selects on your TV?
