Atarifever #3 Posted October 10, 2006 Wait you WANT an ugly PSO that loses conection every ten minutes? What if they made it using the perspective they always used for 16 bit RPGs? That'd look nice. I can't think of a way to fix the connection issue.

Video #5 Posted October 10, 2006 'They could make a Phantsy star collection with the old games, and maybe a new NOT ONLINE game, I see nothing wrong with that. But the DS is completely illsuited to play an online only game.

Atarifever #8 Posted October 11, 2006 that loses conection every ten minutes? Have you ever played the ds online, ever? Have to agree with SSX. I love that the DS has free online, and it has served me well for the most part. However, it has little "shut down" bugs frequently enough to be a problem in a game that would require a stable connection as long as PSO. If the game shuts down on me during a game of Animal Crossing online I might lose an item or two and have to wait a minute to resume my conversation with whoever I'm visiting. However, if it shut down during a boss fight of some kind and lost the new stats I'd built up just to face him, then I'd probably never turn the thing on again. Also, my friends would probably continue fighting without me.

Atarifever #12 Posted October 11, 2006 Play something where you're online interacting with a lot of stuff and people at once, Like Animal Crossing for example. I very much enjoy the online part of Animal Crossing, and some nights I was online with 3 or 4 people for over an hour with no problems. However, the shut downs happened frequently enough to be annoying, and some nights they happened 3 or 4 times in a 15 minute period. I don't know if I'd think something like PSO would be anything more than a public relations nightmare in a game like that where online practically IS the game. Avid Fan #14 Posted October 11, 2006 I've only had connection problems when my router wasn't set up correctly. And I put in many hours with Star Fox and Mario Kart, however I noticed that a lot of other people like to drop out a lot
Atari Joe #15 Posted October 20, 2006 Sega had to lay off the indian boy they had answering emails. Now it's just a guy in a recliner with dirty socks and a masterystem playing Outrun all day and mubmling something about a Chao.
