rheffera #1 Posted October 12, 2006 (edited) A friend just realised they had a unit that looks like a Junior model B but appears to have 30 inbuilt games. Manufacturing label says made in china, while my regular junior -B says taiwan! here are some pics: Games appear to be seleceted by flipping colour/ black and white switch Games identification coming soon!, however the games dont appear to follow a order! flipping the colour switch to change games changes it to a random game! but ill try to ID what games are in it! If anyone knows anything about it ( looks at Cpu-Wiz and Rom hunter) or has any questions, post away! Edited October 12, 2006 by rheffera

Spirantho #4 Posted October 12, 2006 Yes i realize that i checked there first coudnt find an exact mach.. only a 32-in-one system and it dosnt have the rainbow stripe this one does. Problem is there's almost as many clone systems out there as pirate carts - and I think they're still being made! The interesting clones are the ones with odd games on, though, like the "Screen Search" I think it was called which turned up the only known version of "The Unknown Game" (as it's called by CpuWiz). 99.99% of other clones have the same games on, sometimes more than once per console. Best I've got is 208 (mostly different) games in 1 machine!
Rom Hunter #5 Posted October 12, 2006 Here's The Unknown (Datatech) Game: http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=15501 Without the existence of Multi-Game Consoles, this game would never have surfaced.

Pac Munchkin #13 Posted October 13, 2006 (edited) BTW I think Telegames still makes Atari VCS? It has a been a while but I know that they sure did well into the late 90's. Wade PS Maybe their own version on the Colecovision, it has been a while to remember now. Edited October 13, 2006 by Pac Munchkin

Thomas Jentzsch #15 Posted October 13, 2006 I don't think the very last game is Target Fun a.k.a. Air-Sea Battle. Yes, it is a M.A.S.H. hack.
Thomas Jentzsch #16 Posted October 13, 2006 And the 1st one is not Asteroids, but Astrowar (aka Missile War, Meteor Defense).
rheffera #17 Posted October 13, 2006 ok thanks every 1 for your help, so what exactly is the last game? the backround reminds me of marine wars
Pac Munchkin #18 Posted October 13, 2006 (edited) Correction top game Meteor Defense and also Assault is really Laser Base. Still working on that last one, maybe Sea Wolf? Wade Thomas beat me to it a MASH hack! No wonder that one really threw me off! lol Edited October 13, 2006 by Pac Munchkin
Pac Munchkin #19 Posted October 13, 2006 The problem is many of these games are slightly different under completely different names by completely different company's, I think a few of these stole from each other. lol Hard to tell the original. Wade
Pac Munchkin #20 Posted October 13, 2006 A Mysterious Thief is also called Criminal Pursuit and Eddy Langfinger. Brick Kick is also called Peter Penguin. But there are many more probably every game here has other names. Wade
rheffera #21 Posted October 13, 2006 (edited) ok ok i get it, people really stole from each other back then (and still do? if your copying todays homebrews and flogging em like so many companies did then please call 911 and ask for an ambulance..your gonna need it after im finished with you ) So do we have a POSITIVE id of anysorts on the last one? the interesting thing is the system appears to have a valid atari manu.facture tag, but it cant be a licensed product with so many 3rd party games right? maybe someone modded it after they got it? another odd thing is games have no order to them..you change games you get what you are given & the games are of mixed sizes( 2k + 4ks +8k's)> If anyone wants an attempted dump of it say so now because the unit is dying i think.
