Xot #26 Posted October 19, 2006 The one that still gets me is the death of John "Earthquake" Tenta. I had actually gotten to know John a little bit from his posting over at the Wrestlecrap forums and had talked to him some via pm. He was such a nice, genial guy. It's a shame that someone so good like him has to pass while idiotic morons like Jim Hellwig still draw breath. I loved that game, though. There was nothing more fun back in the day than popping in quarter, playing as Big Boss Man, and owning up on all the Hogan lovers. Hehe. Oh, no way, dude. Mr. Perfect and DiBiase were THE team in that game.
Trip_Cannon #27 Posted October 19, 2006 Best pro wrestling game ever, hands down: WWF Wrestlefest, Technos, 1989-ish. Never ported to any home system. Sadly, a full third of the roster is now dead. That IS a great wrestling game!! I would have forgotten about it otherwise!
Atarifever #28 Posted October 19, 2006 Oh, no way, dude. Mr. Perfect and DiBiase were THE team in that game. Throw in Jake the Snake, Roddy Piper, and Honkey Tonk Man and that'd be the best heel team ever period. MAybe IRS could come along too.
2600Lives #29 Posted October 20, 2006 I loved playing as Big Boss Man, though. His finisher was SO easy to pull off, and it did a ton of damage. You could literally just toss an opponent into the ropes over and over and nail them with that side slam till they dropped.

jpfalcon2003 #31 Posted November 10, 2006 Never really had a wrestling game yet i liked. I have 7800 Titlematch Pro Wrestling and 7800 Mat Mania Challenge. Neither of these were really that good. I also had one for the N64 that I hated. I gave that one away for free to someone. Early nintendo 64 wrestling games were way too blocky for me. passed on all for the Gamecube, but may get one for the wii. I'll have to try it out first though before buying.
