Shawn #1 Posted October 17, 2006 (edited) Hey All, I got a chance to get a fully working good condition Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 upright arcade for $400 Canadian Dollars locally (well actually he wants $500 but I think $400 in cash would get it). Is a UMK3 worth $400? If so\if not what is the average going rate for a UMK3 machine in working order? Thanks for the help., Sr. Edited October 17, 2006 by Shawn Sr.
Starscream #2 Posted October 18, 2006 If it's a dedicated cab, then yes that's a very good price.

Flack #5 Posted October 19, 2006 That seems ballpark for what they're going for around here. Even MKII machines seem to still bring in money. At the last auction I was at I saw several (MKII) go for ~$300 (USD).

At the last auction I was at I saw several (MKII) go for ~$300 (USD). Doesn't matter now, a family member of the seller asked him to hold it for him. Even though the family member is doing a payment plan and has no truck to move it with I'm SOL. My search continues
Crazy Climber #7 Posted October 23, 2006 If it was a conversion no big loss, just find any JAMMA cabinet with extra buttons and make you're own. I found a Fighters History JAMMA cab that no one wanted for like two hundred bucks, seriosly it was for sale for like 3 months at that price. I slapped a SF2 set in it and doubled my money. I just bought a converted Mortal Kombat 3 with a 25" monitor on Friday for $200 and I almost turned it down for a 4 slot Neo. I guess the point I'm making is don't worry there's plenty of them out there, especially converted JAMMA cabs. If it was a dedicated cabinet though that sucks man, that was a very good deal.
