Anyone interested in "The Eternal Dagger"

This is an rpg by SSI, the sequel to Wizard's Crown. I have

two copies of the game.

There are not too many rpgs for the ATARI, too bad that

SSI did never port the D&D games like Pool of Radiance,

Champions of Krynn and their sequels and the XL

never got any Wizardry, no Bard's Tale, no Might and Magic

and only the first 4 Ultimas.

It's a great game - I recall spending countless hours sorting my party out to get a good balance, and then distributing the various weapons between them... in fact, a lot more time doing that than I did playing the game! :)

I've still got mine, but if anyone hasn't played it and is into RPGs then it's definitely worth a shout... I can still remember some of the maps, puzzles and names! Scary!

I have both games for the Apple II (back in those days I'd buy any RPG with an SSI logo on it). They're alright, but on the Apple there were so many RPG's that they got overshadowed. The setup for the game was weird, you had to copy both disks and make a play disk as well. I guess the game wrote to the disk alot and didn't want you to ruin your original data.

Same here, I spent a lot of quality time on Wizards Crown/Eternal Dagger. They were great games! :lust:

@Lord-Chaos - If I didn't already have boxed copies of both, I'd take it :D
