AussieAtari #1 Posted October 18, 2006 In your opinion, what are the best Sega Master System games that use the Light Phaser? I'm finding that visitors to the Cave are enjoying light gun games regardless of the format or age and they seem to provide a great retro gaming "fix" for those who are simply not that good with joystick games or not familiar with games in general. Therefore I want to expand my light gun game collection and as I have a few SMS consoles I reckon I'll leave one set up for gun games all of the time. Your opinions are most welcome. Inky #2 Posted October 18, 2006 MIssle Defense 3-D was pretty decent. Otherwise, they were sadly too generic.
MegaManFan #3 Posted October 18, 2006 Call it generic if you want but I enjoyed Safari Hunt and still do.
Nimtene #4 Posted October 19, 2006 I've always been particularly fond of Shooting Gallery.
jsoper #5 Posted October 19, 2006 For US releases, I'd say Gangster Town, Marksman/Trap Shooting, Poseiden Wars, Rambo III, Rescue Mission, Shooting Gallery, and Wanted are among the top

Mark III #7 Posted October 19, 2006 For Euro releases check out Assault City it's pretty good. Just make sure you get the light phaser version, there was also a much more common version that only let you use the controller. There was also a game called Laser Ghost which was not too bad. Different play style, you had to guide a girl through a haunted house and shoot stuff around her to keep her from getting killed. For US releases definately get a copy of Gangster Town. I believe that was the one that would let you use 2 light phasers simultaneously.
