Might have to sell Battlesphere

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

It's been ages since I've posted anything.. I don't even remember what my last posting was about...

Circumstances and my child's teeth may require me to sell off my Battlesphere cart. I love the game.. But my little dude comes first. Sooo I wanted to acution it off. The game plays great. The cart/box is in fantastic shape. Will provide pics of everything if needed.

The last thing I want to do is turn to ebay. I'd prefer to send it to a great home. So I came here. (My favorite Atari site). I've visit often. But haven't been in the forums in a while.

Before actually starting the auction, I wanted to make sure that I'm following all the rules of the forum. Let me know what I should and shouldn't do. (Didn't see anything re: rules).

Thanks!!!

Steve

There's a marketplace section for auctions.

AtariAge Forums > Community > Marketplace > Auction Central

That is usually for eBay auctions though. Not sure how holding an auction without eBay would work. You may like to know a users feedback rating and have a more mechanical bidding increment. But you can avoid fees with a silent auction or whatever... you could say you're taking pm's for 5 days with an ending time, mentioning time zone. Something like that, perhaps? Just an idea.

Hope you really don't have to sell it.

Good luck!

It's too bad you have to sell it... I sold off my BS classic when I needed some cash about three years ago, and I've regretted it ever since! My advice is to try and hang on to it if at all possible, but of course your child comes first.

If you do auction it off, I'll definitely put in a bid.

Can someone tell me the default list of names for BattleSphere Terminators? It starts with Jeff, Mike, Susan, Steve... I need the other four.

Oh no warp tunnels or Pyro Pong? Forget it! :)

Seriously, if at all possible, never sell collections in despiration. I have an electric guitar I did that with. You never get enough money, and such things are hard to replace.

Can you take a peek at the default scores for me, please?

I'd rather not have to reset the memory on mine. If you're going to sell yours, it wouldn't matter. ;)

I'm trying to get rid of a few other things first.. If I can't get what I need... Then BS goes up on the auction block. Hate to do it. But for some reason, my kiddo comes first.

I'll keep u all posted.

Thanks for all the kind words... Both publically and privately

There are currently two copies up on eBay: a Gold version sitting at over $300, and a Classic version at just over $200 US. They'll likely go up more - last month a Gold version auctioned off for $660! :o
