I don't know too much, but I think it works like this: There is a fluorescent light, and the logo or whatever is on the sign has a bright white color. Then, the fluorescent light rays lights up the logo.

These signs are LED lit. The top aluminum housing has LEDs that are mounted to project light down through the plexiglass. The logos on the signs I have are etched into the surface.

For anyone looking for your own Atari LED sign, just contact Ebay member " ericarol820 " and tell him what you want, he will then send you back a picture of what it will look like and after you pay him, it should only take about 4 days or so, he was very fast with my sign.
