I seriously doubt you willl be able to get your hands on a wii tommorow without going out there right now and waiting in line. The first shipment always sellls out and this will be no exception. That may be the case, but I think it'll be much easier to get a Wii than a PS3. And it's obvious that stores are going to have many more Wii consoles than they had PS3 consoles. ..Al

+RandomPerson #7 Posted November 19, 2006 Walmart stores in Canada each got about 10 (and some less, my local store got 7) of the forcasted 20 PS3 consoles for lauch day per store where as with the Nintendo Wii they forcasted 35 consoles and have a MINIMUM of 35 consoles per outlet for tommorow morning at 8am. jpfalcon2003 #11 Posted November 19, 2006 Have my preordered games coming in from bestbuy.com, but no way in a hurry to get the system. I will wait for the newer version to come, as I heard it will be DVD and Cd compatible on the newer ones. The launch date ones won't be..
Uzumaki #12 Posted November 19, 2006 Do we know for sure if the later version of Wii with DVD support would be out in USA? thought Japan only?
jerrykurtz #13 Posted November 19, 2006 I got one this morning from CircuitCity.com and my brother got one from MicroCenter.com. Sure, I have to wait a few days for it to get here now... No waiting in lines, no preorders, no sweat, and no worries. Just luck of the mouse click I suppose. If it was that easy for me to get one this morning, I get the feeling there's going to be plenty of opportunities for people to get them before Christmas. Buyatari #15 Posted November 19, 2006 I got one at Walmart (they had 28) then waiting till morning and got 2 at Best buy (they had 108). At Best Buy I was able to get back in line and get a second as they didn't sell out. So did several other people. I suspect they sold out later in the day as they had 8 left when I was done but they said they would be getting more throughout the holidays. I put one on ebay and sold it for $500 in record time (for me atleast).

Murph74 #17 Posted November 20, 2006 Store here in St. Louis are apparently sold out but are also claiming they're expecting a second shipment this Wednesday, and then on every Thursday thru the holidays. At least that's what the guys at Target, Circuit City and Kmart all said. Of course, The Kmart guy wasn't sure as he said he personally went to GameStop for his as his store only got 4 in for the launch. And the Gamestop was a "Nintendo launch location" supposedly gauranteed (at least that's what they were telling people last week in store- I didn't believe it) to not run out-- they're out too.
