How much is a 5200 Masterplay Interface worth?

I found someone selling one like this NEW in the Box. It has the 2 button option also, whatever this means. Just know this one is better.lol Was thinking about getting this but wanted to know a fair price to pay for it. Is this worth $200.00. If not, what is a fair price to offer on this one

It means it includes a second fire button that glues on to your 2600 stick and plugs into the Masterplay so you can play 2-button games.

 

 

 

I've got no clue as to actual market value.

Boxed WITH the 2nd fire button? Thats a rarity. Those are on Ebay pretty often, but rarely boxed and probablly even rarer to find with the 2nd fire button (it's pretty small so it seems people lost them often!) $200 just might be a roundabout fair price, but why not offer $100 and see if he takes it? If not just ask what he wants for it.

Either way, the redemption adapter in the AtariAge store is much cheaper, but from a collectible standpoint $200 prbablly is a good price for a boxed complete Masterplay.

There are also 2 box variations of the Masterplay, if you are into that.

 

There is the box variant like the one on eBay that you are probably referring to, and then this variation too.

 

If you are referring to the one listed on eBay, that person turned down several "Best Offers" already, so be careful with the price you offer - I think you only get one chance to submit a best offer?

A bargain at twice the price, to not have to use those horrible 5200 stock controllers anymore!

$150 for a mint unit, complete with paperwork, in a mint box.

 

Less for the one on eBay with the rough box and that ugly strip of tape on it. Not to mention the fact that it is used... (he says that he tested it himself! In my book, that qualifies as used from that point on)

Got mine boxed with 3 boxed 5200 games for around $35 shipped off epay,I knew that was a steal
