I just just passing through the Strong Bad Emails on Http://www.homestarrunner.com . And found a couple of Emails with retro video game references in them.

 

The first of which, just depicts them playing NES, and references "adventures of lolo" and "bayou Billy"

 

The second email shows a CV controller and a Atari controller.

Strong Bad rules, and there are lots of other video game references. Heck, the computer references alone are hilarious. Check out the Virus email on the Strong Bad site.

There are many, many more video game references amung the Homestar Runner cartoons... most of them far more subtle, such as the names on the disks near Strong Bad's computer when he checks his email, and the way Strong Bad says the names of SNES games while he sleeps.

 

I'm still waiting for someone to actually write Secret Collect for the 2600... I'd buy it.
