Unsolved Mysteries and Tempest 2000

Does anybody think the theme song to TVs "Unsolved Mysteries" sounds a lot like the splash screen song on Tempest 2000?

Sounds somewhat similar to me, but not that much.

It was a show that ran for quite a long time. It was hosted by Robert Stack and it focused around crimes and disapperances that were, drum role please, unsolved. I re-heard its opening title not too long ago and immediately thought of Tempest 2000. I mean, we're talking a 4 channel mod versus a orchestrated piece, but it has some similarities that are very close. Mostly in the first half of each song.

I hear the similarities for sure... That show was spooky as hell back when I was a kid, especially if I was watching it at home by myself at night!

It was a lot more than just that. There were many episodes dealing with such things as UFO's, ghost, etc.

I remember the Elvis episode freaked me out for some reason when I was younger. I think it claimed to have the last photos of Elvis right before he died...

Yeah it does sound a bit familiar. It's typical music for such a show
