Coleco's best title for the 2600?

Mr. Do is fun. I like Looping also (though it's pretty hard). I actually enjoy a pretty fair number of the Coleco games.

Zaxxon. Sure, it's not identical to the arcade version (which I've never played), but I find it the most enjoyable of the Coleco games.

 

Honestly, I kinda like Donkey Kong...in smallish doses, at least.

I've always liked Venture best. Of course, there are several I've never played. But I think Venture holds up well. It's one of the few games that can still get me just as anxious as I was as a 9-year-old playing it.

I have to go with Venture as well. I played a round of it last night....first time in a while. I enjoyed it. Anyway....I get bored with Mousetrap; although I still like it to a certain extent. Defeniately a "c" for me. I don't own Mr. Do! yet...so I can't comment on that one.

for me its front line by a mile. that game still impresses me on the 2600 and i still prefer it to the arcade. time pilot & zaxxon were reallygood too.

I'd say"DONKEY KONG",there's just something about the 2600 version that I find just totally irresistably addicting,I love this version,its my favorite!,can't get the the sound effect when MARIO gets killed out of my head,awesome!!!!!!!!

Thanks to this thread I'm on a Venture kick now. I think it holds up pretty well.

Yeah, I forgot to mention Venture earlier. I really like that game, as well as several of the great hacks that are based on it like Venture 2 and Wolfenstein VCS.
