jpfalcon2003 #1 Posted October 29, 2006 I'd say the 2 best titles are Tapper and Spy Hunter. Those are the best home conversions from Sega. they done a fine job creating those. What could've happened with Congo Bongo?

PressureCooker2600 #4 Posted October 29, 2006 Tapper and Thunderground. Suckiest would go to Star Trek. crappy Star Raiders wannabe
ATARIPITBULL #5 Posted October 29, 2006 TAPPER or course. I used to love to play Congo Bongo at the Arcade, but the Sega one was not very good.
diggs130 #6 Posted October 29, 2006 my vote goes to Tapper!
Inky #7 Posted October 29, 2006 Tapper without a doubt. IMHO, Tapper is one of the top 3 arcade conversions for the 2600.
Vic George 2K3 #8 Posted October 29, 2006 Toss-up between Star Trek and Buck Rogers, both of which I owned for the 2600. I enjoyed Thunderground when I played it at my cousin Wade's house.
Foxsolo2000 #9 Posted October 29, 2006 Tapper and Spy Hunter. Both games are very good conversions for the 2600. Pity the same couldn't be said for Congo Bongo, Tac Scan and Sub Scan
Shawn #10 Posted October 29, 2006 Ixion by a long shot and then Tapper at a distant 2nd.
jpfalcon2003 #11 Posted October 30, 2006 hmmmn. Noone chose Congo Bongo.lol Wish it were better too, because I love this game. Still play it alot though
nester #12 Posted October 30, 2006 I'm going to say Tac-Scan. I think it's one of the most underrated games on the system.
+atari2600land #13 Posted October 30, 2006 I must say Ixion. I only own one, and that's Star Trek. It doesn't get played at all. I must look at the instruction manual on AtariAge sometime.
jboypacman #14 Posted October 30, 2006 Tapper is awesome but i do like SubScan.
Godzilla #15 Posted October 30, 2006 i really love 2600 tapper, one of my faves, so it says a lot that for me my fave 2600 sega game is a toss up between star trek and tac scan... something about both of these games i just love and i didnt really feel like star trek played anything like star raiders, or like any other game really. u can get such a great rhythm going on that game. and tac scan took the best parts of the arcade games gameplay, leaving out the bad and that made it more fun to me.
