jpfalcon2003 #1 Posted November 9, 2006 just got this game, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. Although I can say the graphics look really cool. I heard this one is difficult and was recommending you draw a map. Anyone complete this game? Is there an ending? Any tips or suggestions for when I play it would be helpful. Foxsolo2000 #2 Posted November 9, 2006 Yes there is an ending but it is difficult and long winded in the hardest setting of trying to find everything. A map is essential but due to the fact that all the streets resemble each other it is easy to get confused. Personally I love the game but it can be pretty frustatrating so bare that in mind that on the 20 minute game you wont be completing it any time soon
StanJr #3 Posted November 10, 2006 Wonderful game. Wonderful. D Yancey and I are in a very protracted competition (friendly and very supportive) to see who can get the best time on Case 5. A really good puzzle/action game for the VCS. Very unique and requires concentration and smarts. Mapping is essential for all but the first two cases and the game rewards the player who spends time playing the levels over and over, learning as they go. One of the best. Lord Thag #4 Posted November 10, 2006 I'll second Stan. This game is a blast, and NOBODY ever remembers it. It really slips through the cracks. It reminds me of a cross between Pitfall and Adventure. Very fun stuff, and yes, game #5 will take you a loooong time to beat, if you ever do.

Stan, I've beaten it twice now. The second time was for the bounty prize in 2005 on Twin Galaxies---$150.00. Not bad for 20 minutes work, huh? IIRC, this time I had over a minute in time remaining. The goal of the contest was just to finish the game having collected every prize.
StanJr #6 Posted November 11, 2006 I really need to dedicate more time to this. I've been so busy with grad school and the restaurant that I haven't had time to give it. I'll make a pledge that once the semester is over, I'll see your minute and raise you a few seconds!
Lord Thag #7 Posted November 11, 2006 Any tips for beating game five? I've never done it myself, though I've tried. I always break out a few games when winter rolls in to play through in the winter, and I think this will be one.
Foxsolo2000 #8 Posted November 11, 2006 I've never beaten it either but its never stopped me from attempting to do so. I read a lot of reviews which slated the game and could never understand why?
D.Yancey #9 Posted November 11, 2006 My tips for game 5: It's just games 1 thru 4 rolled together. So if you have the maps for them in your head already then it's just a matter of finding exactly where each section links with the next. Time is really a factor in this game. If you get hit by a dagger while carrying something then you should probably just start over, since you don't have any extra time to go searching around. There's a section I call dagger alley(from the part that was game 4) where the game is merciless. That is about halfway through too, so if you mess up there you have to re-do quite a bit. ewomack #10 Posted November 12, 2006 This is a great game. One of Activision's biggest sleepers. And very very tough. I have only had time to clear the extremely easy level 1.
