8th lutz #1 Posted November 12, 2006 http://www.direct4games.com/layout1.jsp?pa...680&s3=1234 On the list of games they have includes the following mentioned but were out of stock: Eidilon, The Electro Cop Lode Runner Night of the Ninja Pyromania Rescue on Fractalus Klax (Atari 7800) - USA NTSC Scrapper Story Sentinal (Atari 7800) - USA NTSC Tank Command (Atari 7800) - USA NTSC UFO What bothers me is why these games where listed a first place? I found it odd unless Direct 4 had them at one time.
+Allan #2 Posted November 12, 2006 My guess is that they used some list like Digital Press guide or something. I'm sure they didn't have those games. Allan
godzillajoe #3 Posted November 12, 2006 Can you still get Klax anywhere? There used to be a place that had it but I forget the URL. I love that game and need it for my collection if possible.

rockman_x_2002 #5 Posted November 12, 2006 Heh... 7800 protos ain't all they're carrying. They're listing some Lynx vaporware as well. Check this out. They even have listed Rolling Thunder... and it's in stock.
birdie3 #6 Posted November 12, 2006 Why doesn't some one email these folks and get this information confirmed?
8th lutz #7 Posted November 12, 2006 Why doesn't some one email these folks and get this information confirmed? I just pmed the person since Direct games is a member of this site.
The_Laird #8 Posted November 12, 2006 Scrappers Story is just Scrapyard Dog anyway!!!!!
jpfalcon2003 #9 Posted November 12, 2006 Wish they would have had Missing in Action
8th lutz #10 Posted November 12, 2006 Scrappers Story is just Scrapyard Dog anyway!!!!! The site claim Scrappers Story Publisher was Froggo games and Scrapyard Dog was published by atari. Also they also have Scrapyard dog - USA NTSC and sold in Scrapyard Dog Scrapyard Dog UK PAL. It sounds like Direct4games made a mistake with them selling booth games and not knowing what genre Scappers Story is.
+Allan #11 Posted November 12, 2006 I think for them this was a great idea to do because now they're getting lots of attention. Allan
shadow460 #12 Posted November 13, 2006 This is the second mention I've seen of UFO. Anyone know anything about it, besides it was supposedly a Froggo title?
DracIsBack #13 Posted November 13, 2006 This is the second mention I've seen of UFO. Anyone know anything about it, besides it was supposedly a Froggo title? I'd guess it was never started. In one of the issues of ATARIAN magazine (of the three they published), there was an ad for Froggo which listed UFO as coming soon, along with other titles. +Propane13 #14 Posted November 13, 2006 None of the Froggo games were worked on-- just announced as ideas. So, don't hold your breath on those ever showing up. -John
shadow460 #15 Posted November 14, 2006 I wonder if ATARIAN had a description of UFO. That might give us an idea of what it was supposed to be a rip off of, er what kinda game it was supposed to be.
DracIsBack #16 Posted November 14, 2006 I wonder if ATARIAN had a description of UFO. That might give us an idea of what it was supposed to be a rip off of, er what kinda game it was supposed to be. IIRC, it was just a bulleted list. If you want to take the time to do the download, you can see the mags here: Atarian scans at Atari Age

Classic Pac #18 Posted November 14, 2006 You got to be careful when a site lists for sale games that you know were not made. It could be a scam.
SteveW #19 Posted November 15, 2006 I've seen this kind of thing before, on other sites. Any game that was even mentioned at some time in the past gets listed for sale, even though no work ever started on the title in question. Assume it's either a scam site to get people to send in money for rares, or it's run by people who just scoop up info online about anything Atari related, and automatically assume the games listed came out. Either way, I wouldn't send them any money.
