Kaboom! always jittery?

I just busted out my new paddles and played a few games

 

I noticed that with Kaboom! the buckets always shake a bit when the bombs are raining down.

 

The faster the bombs, the more they shake.

 

Is this a known thing?

 

Breakout doesn't seem to behave this way.

 

I though the darn things were busted despite being brand new from Best.

I've found a good paddle tester is Super Breakout. If your paddles are even the slightest bit jittery, they'll definitely shake on that game.

Yep, it's normal. The buckets always shake a little bit in Kaboom! It makes it difficult to explain jittery paddles to newbies if they are playing Kaboom.
