Buyatari #1 Posted November 14, 2006 First I hated you for the worst controllers ever made now I hate you for the box you snuck into a 2600 auction. God damn it. The box should have pop out at me but I don't recall what the 2600 box looks like because its pretty damn rare and I don;t know what 5200 boxes look like because I try to stay away. +Omegamatrix #3 Posted November 14, 2006 I have no idea what you are talking about, but I agree. * pulls out a 5200 and smashes it *
ItsAtariTime #4 Posted November 14, 2006 (edited) I think he is talking about the Mr Do's Castle that had the 5200 box instead of the 2600.. Edited November 14, 2006 by ItsAtariTime

Zwackery #7 Posted November 14, 2006 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=150059067992 Since the seller states that the box is from the 5200, did you just hit the BIN too fast without thinking that the 5200 box might be different? Sometimes the BIN is just too tempting. You can put the 5200 box up on eBay and recover some of your money.
CPUWIZ #8 Posted November 14, 2006 He previously tried this one in a lot as well... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=150056672847 Anybody want to guess what was behind curtain number one? And no, I didn't do it.

Sometimes the BIN is just too tempting. Had to beat the others who would have all been all over this had it been a 2600 box. it goes something like this ntsc check feedback ok check bin check takes paypal check takes us bidders check bid 5200 box?!?! wtf
Zwackery #10 Posted November 14, 2006 ah damn that's too bad, sometimes I see what looks like a great BIN, I get the rush of adrenalin, and the mouse goes click - fortunately in those couple of cases, it's been a Colecovision cart masquerading as a 2600 one, and I didn't have either variety so I was cool with what happened, but I can see where it is frustrating with a cart (and box) of this rarity...after my last couple of near goofs, I make myself wait 2 beats before hitting that BIN... I swear that with the CIB Beamrider topic that CPUWIZ posted recently my eyes saw Cosmic Commuter and I was falling all over myself to get to the auction...then I blinked twice and it was just ol' Beamrider, oh well
