Number 6 sounds interesting, love to see a pic. Question for Rom Hunter. Rom do you think that the hacks on this game could have been released as carts in their own right or do you beleive they were hacked especially for this 64 in 1? I ask for some hacks such as Spy Vs Spy and Turtle Racing have only been seen on 4 in 1 carts but other hacks appear to be more universal and have possessed carts of their own ;)

Don't know if these hacks were released as single carts too.

I've only seen them in compilation carts (or clone consoles).

Here's number 6:

Neat, Thanks Rom. Do you believe that the companies who did these multicarts actually changed the games themselves and if so for what possible reason? They couldn't have been afraid of being sued for their games possessed untouched games as well as the hacks ;)

I think some Taiwanese geek did the changes, but I really can't figure out why.

I do think that the first Suntek hacks (Bermuda, Tom Boy, Pyramid War, etc.) were really a very childish attempt to avoid trouble with the law.

But even back then, people could see right through it.

I have a review of Tom Boy from 1984 in which the game is called: A poor imitation of Activision's Pitfall!

And in a review of Bermuda the reviewer states: The gentlemen in Taiwan didn't manage to touch the class of the original River Raid at all.

Furthermore he says:

This company is just imitating/stealing succesfull games developed by other companies.

That's the reason I don't want to spent more time and space to other Suntek 'creations'.

Too bad he didn't...
