Replacement powerpack for the Odyssey2?

I was wondering if anyone can suggest what could be used as a replacement powerpack for a Odyssey2?I have heard that you can use a NES powerpack as a replacement but i dont know if thats true or not.Any help on this would be great.Thanks.

There's at least 2 different version of O^2 power plug. One works with Atari 2600 power supply brick. Not sure of the other.

I've gotten it working with both an NES plug and a Jaguar - apparently polarity means nothing to this machine.

You think a 2600 plug would work or is the voltage not right?Am just wondering.Thanks.

I think one version is hardwired. Of course, I've never taken one apart, so I don't know how hard it is to unplug and swap out.

 

The one I have has the tuby Nintendo style plug in it... My powersupply is missing though so I don't know it's specs, as they aren't on the machine anywhere.
