YOK-dfa #26 Posted November 28, 2006 The reason why I states the Playaround games was because its easy to find NTSC versions but nigh impossible to find PAL versions. If you're not fussed, you're better off going for the NTSC version. Its the same with River Patrol, Montezumas revenge etc. Rheffera wants to know which versions he should buy in NTSC and the answer is all of those as its virtually impossible to find the PAL equivalents (whether they exist or not). In that case there are a lot of games you could add to the list. Pengo comes to mind, the Data-Age games (Airlock, Bermuda Triangle, Bugs, Encounter at L-5, Frankenstein's Monster, Journey Escape, Sssnake, Warplock) which have been release by Game World in PAL format, the US Games (Gopher, Infernal Tower, M.A.D., Octupus, Sneak ´n Peak, Space Jockey, Eggomania) released in PAL by Carrere Video. Gyruss by Parker Brothers, All of these are much easier to find in NTSC than in PAL hmm i thought it was rarity 10 in NTSC. ah well you get my point anyways Well it was, until last year when someone found a few hundred shrinkwrapped copies somewhere in South America

The games you list are listed as R6-8. if you are a little patient, you'll find them eventually.
staberinde #31 Posted December 3, 2006 No frickin way? I remember back in the early 80s being part of a large group of Atari collectors being very P****** off that the Earth World series was never going to be released in the UK. If a Pal Earth World was released which country did it end up in? Fireworld Earthworld
