Is the original Gameboy classic? (garage sale find)

I found two original Gameboy multicarts on the weekend. A set of 12 mostly Mario titles: Super Mario 1 thru 4, Wario Blast, Mario and Yoshi, plus others like Alleyway, Mr. Do! and Dead Heat -- no repeats. And a set of 17 (I think) sports titles, including two repeats but at least it had Master Karateka. The bowling title's not bad, and the racing one's got pretty decent graphics. I'll be posting details/photos soon to a Gameboy multicart site I found, since they don't seem to have them there.

 

Two questions;

 

* Anyone know what these are worth? Not that eBay will let you sell them.

 

*Anyone know how you're supposed to get through the gate on Karateka? I've tried about four different ways and each time I just get killed.

 

Oh yeah, I paid A$30 for the two multicarts, Donkey Kong Land, Felix and an original Gameboy. That's like US$5-7 per multicart.
