The Official "Atari 2600 Box Owners" List

I thought it would be interesting to start a list of folks that have gotten their hands on an orginial Atari 2600 box. Send me a reply with what type of unit the box is from and a photo and I'll keep a list like Wester does for the "Heavy Sixer Serial #" list.

I've got a ratty Vader box and a Sears box that had a complete Sears Heavy set in it, but I'm not sure if there were any differences in Sears boxes (Light 6er vs. Heavy 6er).

I've updated the list the recent posts. Impressive collection, Atartpitbull! I assumed if folks said "standard" or "regular" that meant the light version and not a Heavy.

I have a Promo, Heavy Sixer, Lt Sixer, Woody , Vader and Factory Reconditioned all near mint to Mint In Box. Does anyone here consider the Factory reconditioned one collectible? I just never see any talk about them is why I ask. Never se them mentioned in books or rarity guides. Any thoughts on them? please share

I've got a boxed 4-switch. Though I'm trading the actual unit that came with box to another member here. Have two other 4-switchers, however, that are a/v modded.

The only boxed 2600 I have is a Junior. I can't remember offhand whether it's a long rainbow or a short rainbow version. Probably whichever is more common. Still has the Big Lots price tag on the box - $16.88.

Atari 2600 jr. short rainbow (1984), PAL:

This is my Atari received in 1985. The console is a short rainbow made in Ireland in 1984 (with an Atari inc. copyright) while the box pictures an all-black version. The console is complete with manual and the original pro-line joystick and it's in perfect working condition.

Atari 2600 jr. long rainbow (1991), PAL:

This was made in China and came with two cx79 joypads and a 32in1 cart (A yellow sticker on the box indicates the presence of the second joystick and the cartridge).
