Won a 1030 modem over the weekend! Now I've got a 1030 with box and XM301 NIB. Just need the 830, 835 and SX212!

I have a SX212 in box and one loose... How badly you want one icon_winking.gif

That largely depends on what do you want for it?

PM me an offer

Ha ha ha, my C64's aren't dead yet! What to do, what to do? :)

I prefer to use the SMS controller too, but need to mod it so my Atari will use the second button as well.

Found a nice old 400 with 16 K and what looks like this 400 composite mod. Original 16K and the multi-colour Inhome keyboard upgrade! Filthy dirty of course, but a little time in the spa cleaned it up nicely. I was really excited that it might be a CTIA machine, but although it might have been initially, it was upgraded to GTIA. Another interesting feature is the date stamp on the bottom of the case (April 1981) I've only seen this stamp on 800's previously.

Funny that the put out the money for composite and keyboard, but not a 48k upgrade.

Just pick up the Star Raiders 800xl Manual, Game, & Controller on EBay for a decent price.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 3206092429581?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=320609242958&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Looking forward to getting it. I used to love this game when I was younger! icon_smile.gif

Does the controller work for the 8bit version? I always thought that was for the 2600 version...

I agree. I looked for signs of the 48K upgrade having been removed, but it looks clean.

Maybe it had a 32k card in it at one point (two of my 400 units have 32k cards that just plug in)

I'll let you know later this week when I receive it. I always used a joystick when I played it on our 800XL. Thought it would be interesting to see what the keypad was all about, even if it's not for the 8bit machines. I really just wanted the cartridge. ;)

Got a box lot of 5200 "junk" but as it turned out only one of the 5200's was junk. I think the power pin must have been dirty or something because after plugging and unplugging the power supply a few times it came back to life. I have it sitting next to my four port with the VCS adapter in it. The lot also came with 5 sticks, 3 are totally wasted and two partially work, one to the point where a few games are actually playable with it, so now I have some spares to send in for rebuilding by Best. It also came with a Pac Man cartridge. It was only $43 for the whole lot including shipping but one of the power supplies it came with was for some other piece of Atari equipment, which I recognized right off so I didn't use it. That's probably why the one that still doesn't work is non-functional. Someone used the wrong PSU and shorted something out.

I always assumed they were for the 2600, if it turns out they work on 8 bit I'm going to kick myself as I sold one three months ago that I had with a 2600 cart

I picked up a 600XL loose with three games, joystick and a power supply with the Atari Logo (power supply #6 I believe).

600xl with stuff: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 3304893984741?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=330489398474&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

B & C seem to think that th e#6 is not a good choice for memory upgrades? I'm thinking of adding the 600XL 64k upgrade. Thoughts?

I believe that version is 1.0A. 600xl and 800xl came with 1.5A power supplies. Since that PS came with XEGS, it is probably barely enough for the 600xl. I have seen funny things when too current gets drawn from PS that was not rated for the device. If things do not behave normally, I would replace the PS with a higher rated one.

This is the type of power supply I use on my Memory upgraded 64k 600XL and never had issues (I also use it on my stock 800XL)... I would only upgrade if you are going to start hanging things off the PBI, or doing higher upgrades internally.

Very nice condition Indus GT - FINALLY. I've been wanting one since '85 :) I paid some douchebag on IRC (edward1469@mac.com for anyone who may come across him - stay away. I'm not the only Atari user that has been ripped off) $75 back in July and never got the drive. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this transaction goes better.

Congrats on the Indus - I had four of them back in the day, I was the king! :D Ran a BBS with those puppies, definitely the sexiest floppy drive ever made...
