What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

Didn't want spend so big, but I just wanted to get this stuff before:

* the next economic downturn

* crashing dollar worsens exchange rate

* post office strike/bankruptcy here or abroad

* riot/turmoil/revolution here or abroad

* death of another Atari hero

....any of which will mean I wouldn't be able to get.

I'm a sucker for nice, cased stuff, and Lotharek's stuff REALLY looks like fantastic solutions.

If I didn't think there's a possibility this stuff will only become more rare/expensive in the future, I certainly would have held on to these dollars/euros/pounds/whatever!

Atari ST composite cable.

It was £15.49 shipped (roughly $25) so not exactly cheap, but it looks better quality than the other offerings. All offerings are from the U.K. Never see Yankees selling these. God Bless EN-GUH-LAND.

The cheaper offerings were about £12 shipped (roughly $20), but the cable looked cheaper, and no gold connectors, whatever they're worth. Ebay search "atari st composite" brings them all up.

I bought one of those years ago and it still works perfectly.

Aestetically not beautiful as Jon's SIO2SD mods but anyway a nice little enclosure, perhaps the best available.

I have one of those from the same seller, pretty good quality, but I recently found a guy selling ORIGINAL st scart leads which are awesome quality, just right for my RGB 7800 :)

What the hell happened to the world's supply of these? I remember disdainfully kicking these things out of the way, in the old days. Now you have to pay big bucks to get one, and they're kind of rarely-listed on Ebay anymore.

I'm sure somewhere there's 10 pallets of them and someone wondering, "what the hell am I going to do with these?"

I had three or four of these, but they all seemed to get dull.. I just use an xacto knife now.

Any chance of a dump? I believe this is the program our local cable station used (in the 80s), and I have been trying for years to find out what it was.

Yep, in time I will :)

Yeah - I checked out the 5000 version, but it doesn't look the same as what I remember on our local cable station. I was hoping maybe the older 3000 version was it.

The 5000 operates the same way as the 3000, the 5000 has a bigger text buffer and allows character graphics, but otherwise they are the same...

I even tried to convince the guy that without an interface card, they are worthless. And that my offer for $600 for both was more than fair. I guess he's entitled to the eBay ego. Somehow, I believe I contributed to this Corvus madness...

Maybe if I show him that I am the sole purchaser of every Corvus item on eBay this year, he will reconsider my offer???

Yeah, it will become clear to him you'll pay the asking price. :D

I offered the guy $1000 for both drives, no go...

I was watching that... Looks like a neat piece of kit... Let us know if it comes with the software.

No it doesn't come with the software. I'll never use it - it was a "I've been awake for 24 hours, as usual" impulse buy. I want a different 'Made for Atari' EPROM burner. You want it?

Nah, I don't have the funds, was just curious how high it would go.
