Found in the wild!! Found an 800XL with one of the good power supplies at the Capitol Flea Market in San Jose. $15.00.

Plastic still on all the brushed aluminum pieces.

As if "I" need any more!!!

Looks like one of the nice Alps keyboards too.

And the good PSU!

sloopy.

A really nice Driving Controller for my Indy 500 Game, going to be doing some auto racing on my 2600.....

I just received driving controllers and indy 500. I'm going to lend it to another 2600 fan at work who never saw it and is currently a PC racing simulation aficionado.

Back in the day we were drifting in Indy 500 (ice race) years before the word was invented.

Wait, did someone just say tempest? That would be sooooooo cool.....

Awesome - the ice racing was my favorite part of Indy 500. I still occasionally play a game or two.

An Atari 7800 and these 7800/2600 games:

Galaga, Robotron 2084, Pitfall, Joust, Missile Command, Pinball, Asteroids, Choplifter, Hat Trick, Mario Bros, Combat, Jungle Hunt, Frogger, Pole Position II.

I'm psyched. This is my first Atari system in 2 decades.

At last!

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1208878768441?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=120887876844&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Finally, my total "CRT-eliminator" solution!... Not just for my analog-video decks, but also for enjoying my good-old 800XL and JM-800... with some class-to-boot!

:)

Can you post some pictures when you get it all hooked up?

Deal! At least 1-2 weeks to allow for shipment, install, extra cables, and calibration.

Yea, but it's got a "potentially defective balloon".

Sorry, that's a no-go here... even though the unmarked red balloon itself "may be super-rare".

Look at the game's subtitle on the box: "A sucker is born every minute".

I guess the seller was testing that theory.
