What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

Atari XF551 - nice cosmetic condition, boxed

I bought this from US in February, wanted to safe some money on postal fees, so I opted for a container transport. It arrived just now, amazing :-)

An Instagram friend asked me if i wanted these, and sent them for just the price of shipping!

so now I finally have an Atari 400, just gotta get the universal power adapter to it, and see if it works. Now, to find-out where the Commodore Vic 20 should be posted.

Hello guys

Does a Nakamichi SCSI 5-disc changer count?

Sincerely

This week i bought the following ATari 8bit things (From the Dutch site Marktplaats (sorta E-bay for the Dutch folks)

- Atari 1050 diskdrive (working)

- 2 x Atari 800XL (both have non-working Reset-key, and both have several keys that do not work) - One 800XL also has the pins of the cartridge compartment broken. But both work and i can play Pacman on them

- Atari plotter (without the thing that holds the paper roll) - Not tested yet.

- 4 joysticks (2 atari de luxe, and 2 others)

- games : Donkey Kong, Qix and Pac-Man

- also 3 power adapters, 2 nice SIO cables and 2 RF-antenne cables.

total cost: 35 euros (Excluding 7 euro postage costs).

So, the 1050 works, the rest was not important for me. As i already had a working 130XE.

Wow! Just got two NIB MidiMate Midi Interfaces eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2813420711801?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=281342071180&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

There's 5 left :)

Score! Lucky dog!

Price appears to have gone from $29 to $79, and shipping (for my central Yankee location) went from $14.10 to $35.70!!! The only difference I can see in this other listing (from same seller) is Miditrack II software and manual included? This new listing doesn't explicitly say "Midimate Included" although there's one in the picture and it's not mentioned....

I would have grabbed one of these but I already have two and I'm trying to save for some APX titles and some more manuals and books to scan. They are still a good price since these rarely come up. You have to wonder how many he really has. The print (maybe just the color) is different on those than the ones I have.

Here are my two.

Allan

Hmmm, the ones I bought don't say Made in the U.S.A and also missing the TM after Hybrid Arts.

Hopefully they are not knock-offs...

Yeah, especially considering that the carts are quite rare. These are the first rare cartridges I've got my hands on since I started collecting A8 hardware. There is one piece in the lot I couldn't quite understand what it was used for. It is a wireless receiver (the piece with the antenna) and the only info I can find about it is just that. Seen one sold on eBay in the past but the listing had no other info about the device. Google search turns out almost nothing other than it's a GENERAL INSTRUMENT made wireless receiver device. GI was a cable TV equipment manufacturer, but has been dissolved long time ago, so there is no chance of finding more info from them either.

GI was purchased by Motorola...and I believe that division is now owned by Google.. plenty of documentation out there.

The one I had was like Allan's too (same color and made in USA), when I've seen the auction page I also wondered about the color on the lettering. Also the number of devices he has seems a bit unusual. Hopefully they're not knock-offs as you said. If you'd like to check the inside, here's a photo.

If anybody here won this book, can you please scan it for me so I can post it on Atarimania.com. I've been trying to get this one for a while.

Looks different, all IC's have part numbers instead of being sanded off, plus it says MM 1.0...

Wrong again Chris, I only made one to prevent you from buying it out from under me :D :D :D

funny, you've been doing it long before I ever started. I remember the first time it occured and I said not again. I created a script/template in which if I see an auction I'm interested in I contact the seller and ask if they get contacted (by atariGeezer, I won' t list your eBay account) to please keep the auction going or let me offer something higher. And 9/10 they tell me that they were propositioned. ;)

I've lost some good carts to you.

what did you pay for those???

Really....
