joeventura
Here is my latest acquisition: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...%3D1&_rdc=1 Unfortunately good old USPS beat up the box in transit pretty bad. The Atari 800 case was cracked and the door hinge completely busted. Luckily I purchased the insurance. Now waiting on USPS to buy me a new Atari 800 (wishful thinking)! Sorry you paid insurance USPS is not going to pay you much of anything. Thats what sucks about them. The conversation will go like this: It's a computer? Yes What kind? Atari? Atari? Like a PC No a vintage computer from 1983. Oh. What did it cost in 1983? $600 Ok so its 26 years old and was $600 when new. but..... We will have your check for 48 cents in the mail in 7 to 10 days. MEtalGuy66
A fantastic haul! The 130XE had some non-working keys (as described). I've fixed those, and the only major discoloration was on a few keys on the left hand side. Not bad for 14GBP and has cleaned up almost as good as new. I gave $9.00 for this about two months ago: All it needed was Bob's Keyboard Tune-Up, and Clearpic 2002 Video Fix.. I think I'll leave this one stock... Whats wrong with the XL? I'm very excited about the GP2X, I'll be able to use it when travelling around. I can then get my "Atari Fix" (I crave for the Atari when I'm away from it). The 800XL has a few crushed console keys and a missing '2' key. I'm not too sure of what is wrong inside, but I'll find out!

Rybags
XEGS with one game + PSU and crap joystick for $60 including postage. The market seems to have headed up again... I might have to sell some joysticks and stuff to help fund all this. Just opened/inspected, and power-on tested the machine. A couple of strange things: - two of the custom ICs are socketed, but it doesn't look like it was done as a mod. - the picture quality seems to be great through RF, much better saturation than my 130XE, it seems near par with a 400.
