What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

Recommended Posts

It appears the CPU is bad on this one. Swapped into an XEGS and it didn't start up. Put XEGS CPU into the 600XL and now she works.

MMU tested out fine. RAM Test under Self-Test all good.

Not bought on eBay... but spotted this in the flea market this afternoon for £30 and had to have it:

No SCART or s-video (it's a plain 1024x768 VGA monitor), so no use for the 8-bit, but the styling of the thing seems to me ideally suited for the XE/ST series. If only Packard Bell had made an LCD TV in the same design.

Yes, they are 18-pin DRAMs. I bought some from that guy I gave link. I bought 4 of them since shipping for one is too much so better to buy a few. After I bought them, I found an old Oak Technology VGA 256K 8-bit ISA card-- OTI036 that had 8 of them socketed. Part #s on the Oak VGA are: LH2464-10 (100ns). Part # from that guy is: KM41464AP-12 (120ns). Both work fine on 600XL and XEGS.

Thanks! They ain't exactly pennies on eBay. The old VGA card I pulled apart is full of 4x16K 16-pin ICs. Got plenty of those, but I'll keep looking... If I had a GAL programmer I'd fit Hiassoft's 512K upgrade.

Most VGA cards don't use standard 18-pin DRAMs. The 16KX4 and 64KX4 should both be 18-pins.

On topic of Ebay, I have some spare New Jersey Nets vs. Charlotte Bobcats tickets on 4/12/2010 if anyone wants them. I just put one up for auction:

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 3205150429071?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=320515042907&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

but would prefer to sell directly. If anyone wants and lives in NJ and can pick-up, pmail me. It's too late to ship them. Thanks.

About price, just make any offer. I have to get rid of them.

at the moment, it is in Brazil

I was about to say I have seen them on a website, but it only showed them in Brazil and they were Apple II clones. That is one A2 clone I would not mind having.

Latest 'computer recyclers' find. These are just quick pictures from the trunk. I'll post better ones later.

520STfm in almost pristine box and condition. Still in the original plastic. With all books, disks and cables.

SC1224 Color Monitor in like new condition, in the box and original plastic with cables and documentation

SC124 Monochrome Monitor in like new condition, loose but in the original plastic. I think they may have removed it from its box, so the box may still be there somewhere

SF354 Disk Drive, loose with power

MaSTer 3.5" Floppy driver for Atari, 3rd party floppy drive made by Oceanic Electronics

and......the cool find....

Atari TTM-195 19" Monochrome Monitor for the TT030

We are hoping that a TT030 may have come in with the monitor but we are still looking. Wouldn't that be cool!!!

Ok. Here are some better shots of my latest recycler find. This stuff is in pristine condition. There is no yellowing or dust anywhere on this stuff. It was like unpacking it for the first time.
