The top 3 Rarest games you have?

Recommended Posts

You know...I can remember for the longest time, Waterworld being the Holy Grail of 2600 games to get your hands on.

But it sure seems as though there are an awful lot of them out there.

My top 3:

Diagnostic cart 8/10; doesn't have a label but the word "SALT" written in magic marker on bare cart.

So, I submit the following three...

Survival Island, cassette, 8/10

Sword of Saros, cassette, 8/10

Rubik's Cube, cart, 8/10

Tank Brigade (Panda) with a rarity of 6.

Scuba Diver (Panda) which also has a rarity of 6.

H.E.R.O, with a rarity of 5.

Actually, I have several other games with a rarity of 5, but H.E.R.O is probably the most valuable of these, so I chose it.

Both proto and box are now confirmed to exist. They were found at former CommaVid employees'. The full story on this is at www.digitpress.com

Cheers,

And Sean and John now own the rights to the CommaVid name? I'm really curious as to what they're going to do with it. :D

Spectravideo's Bumper Bash (9)

and

Double Dragon (5)

Am having a chuckle about the Bumper Bash one!

That the rarest Atari cart I own is a 9. I just paid for it (ouch) and it's on it's way to me in the mail. Soon, I will own Tooth Protectors, and may God have mercy on my soul. :P

What ball park we talking about for a 9er?

$125 for the one I just got. People who find these in the wild for a few bucks have to be the luckiest stiffs going, and someday I hope I'll be that lucky myself.

Heheh - well you're looking at one of those :P

Picked it up at the trash and treasure - bought it with a console and a dozen or so carts - for $5!

That's $5 AUSTRALIAN - ie $2.50 US

:P

Well since Jay-Z himself says "jealousy is a weak emotion and you need to get over that" I'll just say CONGRATULATIONS, GOOD SCORE and move on. :)
