Pengwin #1 Posted December 12, 2006 I just managed to win Atariwriter from eBay. Unfortunately, it is cart only. Does anyone know of an online version of the manual? or where I can download one?
dinosaur #2 Posted December 12, 2006 I just managed to win Atariwriter from eBay. Unfortunately, it is cart only. Does anyone know of an online version of the manual? or where I can download one? Hello Pengwin! Here is a zip file that contains the AtariWriter+ commands in text file and the printer driver for the Hewlett-Packard DeskJet: AWPLUS.zip The commands are just about the same, except for some features of AW+ that AW doesn't have. I have AtariWriter and AtariWriter+ as .atr files,if you want them. Cheers, mate! Atari Forever!

Pengwin #4 Posted December 13, 2006 Thanks dinosaur, that's what I'm after. Thanks for the offer tjlazer, but I has just won the Atariwriter (not sure how this compares to the XE version), so I was only after a manual.

dinosaur #6 Posted December 13, 2006 Thanks dinosaur, that's what I'm after. Thanks for the offer tjlazer, but I has just won the Atariwriter (not sure how this compares to the XE version), so I was only after a manual. You are very welcome,Pengwin. I have lots of printer drivers for AW,if you want them. I use an Epson Stylus 800 and get very nice results. Atari Forever!
Pengwin #7 Posted December 13, 2006 I use an Epson Stylus 800 and get very nice results. At the moment, I print via Sio2OSX, it allows me to either save the print as a PDF and then to my printer, or as a text file if I need to import it into anything else for formating. Fletch #8 Posted June 22, 2008 Ok, I feel like a moron. I was messing around with AtariWriter tonight and I cannot remember how to load a custom printer driver. I have a APX disk with a bunch of drivers but I am not sure how to get them to load. Any advice? Fletch
