All this talk about the new ET Book Cart has made me wanna play the original ET game by HSW and I go to dig it out of my Atari games and guess what? It is missing!!

Of all things to lose, the one cart I have never really tried to play (the pits discourage me). I suppose I will have to hit the thrifts once again and try to find this thing

just go to ebay they freaking stockpile those there.

 

plus, practilcly every cartrige in the Almagordo landfill has probably been crushed or swooped up by other junkies. Although, it would make a good mythbusters episode...

I just ordered the E.T. Book cart. Can't wait to get it too. I didn't have a copy of E.T. either, but a friend, also a AA member gave me a free copy when I purchased some stuff from him. Seems lots of people have spares of this game.

That's odd. I thought the original ET was one of, if not the most, rare 2600 game.

Wait, I meant to say the most common. Oops, big difference.

 

Seriously, I bet the three most common games are Combat, E.T., and Pac-Man.

I actually only have one copy of it right now. I've owned a total of three in my entire life.

I've owned quite a few more Combat and Pac Man carts.

i like to keep a running total of my berzerks i get.....i buy duplicates of them for the helluva it cause its a damn good game......i think i have about 10 or 11 now with at least 1 CIB

 

now extra pac-mans, ets, and combats..........i dont want to even start to count them dupes
