I suggest taking fewer games. You can't really enjoy so many games at a time. So pick a variety of games that represent the best of each genre. Here is my pick:

Well, if it's not too late to chime in my picks would be:

- Donkey Kong (or Jr.)

- Final fantasy

- Metroid

- Ms. pac man

- Ninja Gaiden

- Paperboy 2

- R.C. Pro-Am

- Super mario Bros (1,2 or 3 depending on your fav and repeat playability)

- Tetris

- Either Link or Zelda (again depending on fav etc.)

- and your fav TMNT game (if you like them of course).

Who plays games on a vacation that is a couple days long, let alone play a game like Zelda on it?

 

If you seriously think you'll ever want to play a game while on vacation, stick with a couple of arcade ports like Donkey Kong.

Though I do recommend Blades of Steel & Hogans Alley, but then you have to bring your Zapper.
