Can any of you recommend an art program to do comic strips like this?

Is there anything available to do these types of comics?

I can remember a commercial program for the Atari ST that

was created just for that purpose. Unfortunately, I don't have

it and I can't remember the name of it right off hand. If I can,

I'll post it here...

This is all "IIRC"...its been a long time since I've seen that

mentioned...

Darklord, are you referring to Toki?I think that was for cartoon. I am not aware of a special program for comics but if you could define what you need the app to do we could probably direct you to the right direction. Eg you need to do vector graphics...

Well, it was the original poster who needed it... :)

I might not be remembering correctly - it just seems

like I remember reading a review of some ST software

that was designed for simple cartoon comic strips.

<shrugs> I might have it all wrong though...it was

very long ago...

I once heard that Marvel comics did some comics on Atari TT030's.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ST had some software along the way for doing this, probably ported from the Amiga. :P

The program you want is called Calamus(outline art). Though I think there are also other vector/outline art type programs as well, but IIRC Calamus is the best there were several differrent additions including a professional edition. And it was made specifically for the ST/TT and NOT ported from the Amiga and is far better than any similiar Amiga program, or Macintosh.
