rheffera #1 Posted December 21, 2006 In all honesty airlock is the only 2600 game i have encounterd so far that annoyed me to the point i wanted to ditch my joystick at the TV, that is unti l i got a grasp of it. What a piece of garbage. Has got to be the WORST of the data age releases in my opinion. At least encouter at L5 and bugs arnt so frustrating. I can probably think of a few more but at the moment my mind is occupied with how much a waste of space airlock is. What Games Frustrate/ Annoy you? shadow460 #5 Posted December 21, 2006 I want my mommy...with that stupid ladder rule Spike's Peak, second stage Survival Island, stage one Solar Storm, but you won't be breaking a joystick with this one (I hope) Lots of 'em for me, really, but I listed the worst offenders. ProperRogue #7 Posted December 21, 2006 I get a little frustrated with Gravitar! I just can't seem to get anywhere with that game. Actually , nobody in the family cares for it all.

rheffera #9 Posted December 21, 2006 Double Dragon. Amen. What was activision thinking letting such garbage out its usual high quality doors?
shadow460 #10 Posted December 21, 2006 Gravitar is one I forgot about...the controls just kill the game.
Brad2600 #11 Posted December 21, 2006 E.T I'm serious. I hate those damn pits.
NovaXpress #12 Posted December 21, 2006 I take it that we're not talking about games that are just bad, but ones with a play mechanic that's frustrating. It's no contest. The most frustrating game of all time was SQ Earthworld. It was and remains the biggest let-down and angriest experience of my video gaming history. PressureCooker2600 #13 Posted December 21, 2006 and here i thought i was the only one who sucked ass at gravitar
Inky #14 Posted December 21, 2006 Gravitar is one I like. Sure its hard, but once you get some practice in, its not too bad. Now try it in REVERSE gravity mode! THAT'S frustrating!
Recycled #15 Posted December 21, 2006 I just got Gravitar a few weeks ago....I'm playing it sparingly, along with the arcade verson on the psone Atari Redux comp. It is frustrating....I feel I'm getting the hang of it....then can hardly play next time I pick it up.
fire!fire! #16 Posted December 22, 2006 I'll be flamed for this but Pitfall is annoying to me. It's a great game but it's also frustrating for me. So is Asteroids - especially when you get killed and reappear right in the path of an asteroid and get killed right away again. OH and Time Pilot's controls are so terrible that I get angry playing it.
bcprs1 #17 Posted December 22, 2006 I was working on the bounty for twin galaxies for King Kong. What a very poorly designed game. The guy is way too slow to avoid the candles/bombs. After I finally got the bounty, I haven't played it again.
