baker011
Just received a Jaguar that I ordered in time for a Christmas feature I want to run, but I cant seem to get it to display a picture on my TV. I turn it on, seems to power on fine and sound comes through the TV but I am getting a blank screen. Tested it on a couple TVs all to the same result. Anyway, the Jag came with a custom Scart cable which I was assured worked fine, but I can only see this being the problem. I cant hunt down an RF Lead to test this, but firstly anyone have anty ideas here and secondly anyone know where I can get another scart cable for it? (DOnt know if its a special fit or anything). Thanks for any help.
+Mitch
Does your TV have a manual switch on it to select RGB mode? Your SCART cable may not support auto switching to RGB. Mitch
baker011
I dont think its that as I tried it on a very modern TV and a not so modern TV with the same results. I have tracked down a "Peritel" cable though and hopefully will get it before New Year. I cant for the life of me find an RF Lead to test with. Paolo
I think you can easily go to any electricity store and get a meter (sorry, a couple of feet :-) ) of RF cable; even without the plugs, toying around you will be able to understand what's going on. Htbaa
With most tv's you have to select the AV channel.
felicemaggie
If you're in need of a replacement Jaguar - scart lead, you can do no worse than get in contact with Nick Harlow @ http://www.1632systems.co.uk . He's based in Kent in the UK, so postage of the item should only be a day or so. Cheers, Rich
baker011
I have just found an original jaguar "Peritel" cable on ebay and purchased that, so hopefully it will arrive before New Year. I have been putting the TV to the AV slot it was connected to and thats how I was getting the sound, its just odd no image is coming through, just a blank screen. Hopefully it will just be a faulty cable and this official one will work fine.

baker011
Heh, I hope I get time to give it the justice it deserves. I also got my hands on a Lynx 2 which works great fortunately. Could be an interesting story
