edweird13 #1 Posted December 23, 2006 (edited) For Christmas. It came with 10 games Galaga, Ms. Pacman, RoboTron, One on One,Touchdown Football, Xevious, Xenophobe, Food Fight, Pole Position 2, and Demon Attack. Then I went down to the local game store and got 2600 Missle Command, Space Invaders, Combat, and a Parker Bros. game with no label. It turned out to be Frogger. The kids and I are having a great time. But there is one problem. I cant find Adventure anywhere locally. Ive been bugging my wife more months to get one. Never had a 7800. I've had a 2600 but got rid of it in the 90's. Gonna get the PacMan Collection as soon as some I have some auctions end on fEbay. shadow460 #3 Posted December 26, 2006 Adventure shows up peroidically around here. Actually, in Oklahoma City we have a pretty good base of common Atari titles and the occasional Activision title. I see the 7800 as sort of an upgrade to the 2600, since there are 60 or 70 ish extra games you can play with the 7800 hardware.
Brian R. #4 Posted December 27, 2006 Pac Man collection is a definite must for the 7800. And while you're looking at the store, check out Lady Bug (2600). It's fantastic.
accousticguitar #5 Posted December 27, 2006 I think Crazy Climber has Adventure for sale. Check out the pic in post 3 at the bottom right corner. His prices are very reasonable too. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=98402
edweird13 #6 Posted December 27, 2006 I got impatient and bought Adventure off of ebay. I may have over payed for it but its a game I will play every day. I have already ordered The Pac Man Collection. I have two questions will the Atari 2600 joysticks work on the 7800? And what about the sega Genesis game pads? accousticguitar #7 Posted December 27, 2006 Yes, they both work. So will the Sega Master System game pads. I don't believe they will work correctly with the 7800 games that require 2 buttons on the joystick to play though.
