T2KFREEKER
To remain on-topic, the best thing to do is to ignore the off-topic discussion. Yes, please. Fredifredo, don't bring up the JagCF again in this thread, just drop it. Everyone else, please try to stay on topic and discuss Surrounded! and have fun enjoying this demo! ..Al By the way Albert, have you tried 'Surrounded!' yet? Hey brother, since this thing is a "Demo", is there a time frame for when the actual full game will be released? You know why I am asking as I want to play it too. When a project we work on gets moved into the official project file server it is a go for a full fledge game. 'Surrounded!' is just such a project now! agradeneu
Come back to code, before flooding and flamming (@Symmetry (TNG)) GT Turbo (C.V.S.D, Jagware) It was your fan Fredifredo that wnet off topic...why not repremand him? I tell you why because its good for the goose bit NOT good for the gander. You and your friends have followed me around and harrased me. I came here with a game for folks to play. Get the facts straight GT. This topic clearly was set astray by one of your guys. Now show me you are fair and tell the same thing to your friend there....now back to surrounded. Want to discuss this further? Start a different topic. Check your postings and then tell me who started an argument here.

+remowilliams
When a project we work on gets moved into the official project file server itis a go for a full fledge game. 'Surrounded!' is just such a project now! Now that's awesome to hear Well, it appears that my home made joystick cord Jag BJL does work afterall, big thanks to Matthias for uploading that latest BJL (bjl_load) loader - it works with that one! I'm using a Protector SE on the Jag end. So now I can load both demos fine, and I can hear the cool sounds and everything, W00t! The sounds are cool Gorf, I especially like that demon warbling. And I made it to level

Oh, yeah the BJL load is hella fast. Not to take anything away from JUGS, it was a great achievement but is obviously saddled by the crappy UART nonsense Got to level 10 as well here. That demon is a bastard!

That demon is a bastard! LOL True! Ok, here is a new movie of loading Surrounded with a BJL setup... My thanks again to JUGS. Without the experience of that loading system, I would have never tried loading Jag games at all.
doctorclu
Just hit level 14 (last level it reported to me) and a score of 716,500. Apparently this game is more than a 12 level demo.

Gorf
I agree! Merry Christmas everyone. I was hoping for another full game release but hopefully SMAC and SLN will keep you all happy. There are many folks to thank for that, most importantly Gordon(SubQMod). No more excuses guys....you can now code in main ram using the GPU by a simple directive. .GPUMAIN The assembler will deal with the rest. Please go DL it and try it on all your various setups and let us know your sucesses and failures so we may fine tune these to perfection(or as close as we can get to it.) STGuy1040
Most of you guys probably don't get an opportunity to experience how much the Frog works on the Jag. He's CONSTANTLY working on it. This guy, he's a workaholic. And absolutely obsessed with the Jag. On top of teaching those who are willing to learn how to program it, he's constantly programming on it, digging into it etc. He's a one man development team. Really. I don't think there's anybody out there who understands more in general about the internal workings of the Jaguar and how to program it, save for networking, than the Frog. I can see that! Well, as a tribute to the Frog, to show folks how this is loaded with JUGS, and to show people it is definately worth going through all the trouble to load this game, here is a comical movie I put together in tribute. Enjoy!! Thank you for the vid doc... Hey! You eat cheese and mayo sandwiches too? Edited December 17, 2008 by STGuy1040
