A.J. Franzman #7 Posted December 27, 2006 (edited) Which one of these are you looking for? Thanks for the pics; I had completely forgotten that I had the "Game Library" in your first pic back in the day! Loved those eject buttons, and never managed to break any though they seemed rather fragile. Edited December 27, 2006 by A.J. Franzman
SeaGtGruff #8 Posted December 27, 2006 I love the disclaimers on the boxes-- "does not include video game cartridges" and "cartridges not included." No doubt there would probably be some people expecting them to be already filled with the games shown on the boxes if not for those disclaimers! Student Driver #9 Posted December 27, 2006 I love the disclaimers on the boxes-- "does not include video game cartridges" and "cartridges not included." No doubt there would probably be some people expecting them to be already filled with the games shown on the boxes if not for those disclaimers! Michael I've noticed the same type of disclaimer on modern CD/DVD towers and wallets. Sad, really. I think cereal companies should let us know that "product does not include milk, bowl, spoon, or sliced fruit."
Crazy Climber #10 Posted December 27, 2006 Thanks for the pictures, I'm trying to decide which one to store my loose carts in.. Go with the one on the right, looks much cooler and you can stack a bunch of them together. But where to find them... These are actually kind of hard to find, it's not that they are rare or worth a lot, collectors just use them and tend to buy them when they see them. Same with game binders. Keep your eyes open, they turn up. Usually on Ebay but you will have to buy 10 or so commons with it. There was a guy on here a few months ago with like 30 of them but he wanted to sell them all as a lot. You can check the old Marketplace posts and see if he still has them, if so he would probably split them up by now

ATARIPITBULL #13 Posted December 27, 2006 Also check this out, its kind of like the Atari 8 cartridge holder book, but Atari also called this one a "Game Cartridge Library" but this one can only hold 6 carts & manuals.

I remember seeing those things advertised in the UK club magazines. Never knew they came with boxes. They also did Silver books as well which did not look as good as the browns

This might be an exception, though.
Crazy Climber #20 Posted December 29, 2006 @Crazy climber-- What is Air Battle? According to the Intellivision website, it was never released: http://www.intellivisionlives.com/bluesky/....html#airbattle -John I haven't found any differences with it from Air Raiders, it's the exact same game as far as I can tell and as far as I have heard. Mattel changed the name at the last minute, I have no idea why. The label variation is a cool addition to the collection though, theres not to many of them around
Starhopper #21 Posted December 29, 2006 Thanks for the pictures, I'm trying to decide which one to store my loose carts in.. Go with the one on the right, looks much cooler and you can stack a bunch of them together. Problem was, though, it didn't take long for the ole collection to outgrow the library. We ended up with a generic, knockdown 'arcade cart' with an open bottom shelf for cart organization. I still have that cart but it just doesn't do for dust protection. As for the woodgrain library, I've seen some of those, of late, on eBay. None have been by themselves, though. Time to hit the flea markets...
